December, 7th, 2009 - Toronto: After the success of their first web TV show, “Talking Wine with the Stars”, filmed during the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival, The Wine Ladies, Georgia and Susanne are currently in production for their second series of two-on-one interviews - this time featuring celebrities and leading business entrepreneurs, financial gurus, sports stars and innovators in the entertainment, literary and fine arts communities.
“One Sip At A Time!” filmed live, on location at some of the most exclusive hospitality venues, offers a unique media opportunity to access a live audience as well as an online viewership reaching across the country, the continent and the world.
The Wine Ladies welcomed Crystal Award winners (presented by Women in Film & Television-Toronto (WIFT-T) to “One Sip At A Time!” this past Monday Nov 30th. Filmed at The Fairmont Royal York in Toronto, The Wine Ladies spoke with the recipients of the Crystal Awards while sharing a glass of the popular VQA wine Girls Night Out www.girlsnightoutwines.com/ courtesy of Colio Estate Wines www.coliowines.com . For every bottle of Girls’ Night Out Riesling and Cabernet/Shiraz sold until December 31, 2009, Colio Estate Wines will donate 25¢ towards special scholarship funds in select colleges across Ontario for second-year female students who exemplify commitment to their programs and as chosen by an appointed panel of judges.
Creative Excellence Award winner TASSIE CAMERON, Screenwriter & Producer, was the first to drop by and share her stories, next was LISA MEECHES, Executive Producer, President, Eagle Vision Inc., Meeches Video Production Mentorship Award followed by Outstanding Achievement Award winner CHRISTINE SHIPTON, Senior Vice President, Drama/Factual Content, Canwest Broadcasting. All the award winners are a testament to hard work, passion, and creativity. We are honoured to celebrate their achievements.
And finally, the lady that took your breath away the legendary, iconic Canadian actress of film, TV and theatre SHIRLEY DOUGLAS, International Achievement Award winner that truly captivated us with her charm and wit.
